Lori Rosolowsky will share poignant and humorous stories of her relatives’ unlikely escapes from Nazi persecution and her aunt’s role (at age 23) as a translator/ interpreter at Nuremberg, using archival video footage and narration from family memoirs. She and fellow musicians will perform music by her great uncle, renowned Jewish composer Herbert Fromm, as well as Rosolowsky’s own songs. She will share stories of her family’s enduring contributions in medicine, human rights, architecture, music, and education, including the founding of the Fromm Institute for Lifelong Learning in San Francisco, a precursor to organizations like Wonderlust. During the Q&A, the audience will share related anecdotes and discuss methods to chronicle their stories for their own families.

She is founder and Principal of Open Sky Artists, LLC, a performing arts management and consulting firm, with clients in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Arizona and Montana.
