GaigleIntermountain Opera Bozeman celebrates its 40th anniversary of providing high-quality opera performances to the Gallatin Valley. The season opens with the Montana premiere of Aaron Copland’s The Tender Land featuring IOB guest artists from America’s finest opera houses. Hear Director Steven Daigle discuss the influence of the McCarthy hearings on Copland as he explores in The Tender Land the themes of wrongful accusation and exclusionist mindsets. Attendees will also hear preview performances by several IOB guest artists.

Open to MSU Wonderlust and Alumni Association members and one guest per member. Intermountain Opera Bozeman will perform The Tender Land.
