Course Info: Memoirs, poems, nature journals, essays, fiction—writing takes root from the first words you put on the page. As your ideas take shape on the page, they change, develop, and may even surprise you. This seminar teaches an organic way of writing, drawing from your unconscious, creative mind, with its genius for associations and voice, and moving naturally into revision and craft. Participants will discuss writings with the group, learn techniques, draft some new pieces in session, and practice identifying the heart of each piece.

Instructor Bio:  Ilona Popper, poet and freelance writer, has taught writing and literature for more than forty years.
